Divine Widgets is a Bible app for women who want a simple way to stay close to God throughout the day.

Open the app to swipe through handpicked Bible verses, prayers, Christian affirmations, and quotes. You can also place that content on your Home Screen or Lock Screen and receive it as gentle reminders.

Choose the kinds of content and topics that feel most helpful to you. Your selections are used in the main feed and can also be used by your widgets.

1. Go to the main feed.
2. Tap Topics at the bottom of the screen.
3. Choose one or more content types: Verses, Affirmations, Prayers, or Quotes.
4. Select topics such as Grace, Faith, Healing, Motherhood, Self-worth, or Hope.
5. Close the Topics screen. Your choices are saved automatically.

Your saved content is kept together in the Your library section of your Profile.

1. Go to the main feed.
2. Tap the Profile icon in the upper-left corner.
3. Choose Favorites, Collections, My own quotes, or History.

Favorites are a quick way to keep verses, prayers, affirmations, and quotes you want to return to.

1. Find the content you want to save in the feed.
2. Tap the heart icon underneath it.
3. Open Profile > Favorites whenever you want to see it again.

Collections let you group meaningful content by purpose—for example, Morning prayers, Hope, or Verses for difficult days.

Create a collection

1. Open Profile.
2. Tap Collections.
3. Tap Add New.
4. Enter a name and tap Create.

Add content to a collection

1. Tap the share icon underneath the content you want to organize.
2. Choose Add to collection.
3. Select one or more collections.

Your History shows content that has already appeared in your feed, so you can find something even if you did not favorite it.

1. Open Profile.
2. Under Your library, tap History.
3. Search or scroll to find the content you want.

You can add personal prayers, notes, or favorite quotes to your library and view them with the rest of your saved content.

1. Open Profile.
2. Tap My own quotes.
3. Tap Add Quote.
4. Enter your text and save it.

Divine Widgets lets you choose from the available Bible translations and languages. The selected version is used for Bible verses in your feed.

1. Open Profile.
2. Tap Bible version under Your library.
3. Search by version name or language.
4. Tap the version you want. If it is not already on your device, wait for the download to finish.

You can share content as a beautifully styled image using the theme currently shown in the app.

1. Tap the share icon underneath the content.
2. Choose one of the suggested apps, or tap More to open the iOS share sheet.
3. Select the person or app you want to share it with.

Save any verse, prayer, affirmation, or quote to your Photos library so you can use it later.

Save an image

1. Tap the share icon underneath the content.
2. Tap Save photo.
3. Allow Photos access if iOS asks for permission.

If the image does not save

1. Open the iPhone Settings app.
2. Tap Apps, then tap Divine Widgets.
3. Tap Photos.
4. Choose Limited Access or Full Access, then try again.

Shared images include a small Divine Widgets watermark for free users. Premium removes it automatically.

1. Tap the share icon underneath the content.
2. Tap Hide watermark.
3. Choose a Premium plan if you would like to unlock watermark-free sharing.

You can dislike an individual verse, prayer, affirmation, or quote to remove it from your feed.

1. Tap the share icon underneath the content.
2. Scroll through the actions and tap Dislike.
3. Close the share screen and keep swiping. Divine Widgets will leave that exact item out of future feed selections.

Please report content if a Bible reference looks wrong, an item appears in the wrong topic, or something feels inappropriate.

1. Tap the share icon underneath the content.
2. Scroll through the actions and tap Report.
3. The item is added to your hidden content and the report is sent to our team for review.

Divine Widgets includes widgets for both your Home Screen and Lock Screen.

Home Screen

• Small, medium, and large layouts
• Separate configurations with their own categories, theme, and update frequency

Lock Screen

• A rectangular widget for the area underneath the clock
• A selected content type and update rhythm

You need iOS 14 or later and the latest version of Divine Widgets.

1. Go to your iPhone Home Screen.
2. Touch and hold an empty area until the apps jiggle.
3. Tap Edit in the upper-left corner.
4. Tap Add Widget.
5. Search for Divine Widgets.
6. Choose a size, then tap Add Widget.

Lock Screen widgets require iOS 16 or later and the latest version of Divine Widgets.

1. Lock your iPhone, then touch and hold the Lock Screen.
2. Tap Customize.
3. Tap your Lock Screen.
4. Tap the widget area underneath the time.
5. Scroll to Divine Widgets and tap the widget you want.
6. Close the widget panel and tap Done.

Widget settings are managed inside Divine Widgets, not from the iPhone widget gallery.

Home Screen widgets

1. Open Profile > Home Screen widgets.
2. Choose an existing widget configuration or tap Create new widget.
3. Turn on Customize.
4. Choose the categories, theme, and update frequency you want.

Lock Screen widgets

1. Open Profile > Lock Screen widgets.
2. Open the widget settings.
3. Choose the content type and update frequency.

You can choose the update rhythm for each widget from its settings in Divine Widgets.

Home Screen

1. Open Profile > Home Screen widgets.
2. Choose a widget configuration.
3. Under Widget updates, select every 1, 3, 6, or 24 hours.

Lock Screen

1. Open Profile > Lock Screen widgets.
2. Open the widget settings.
3. Under Lock screen updates, choose your preferred frequency.

After installing or updating an app, iOS can take a little time to add its widgets to the gallery.

1. Open Divine Widgets and leave it open for a few seconds.
2. Return to the Home Screen, touch and hold an empty area, then tap Edit > Add Widget.
3. Search for Divine Widgets again.
4. If it is still missing, update Divine Widgets in the App Store and restart your iPhone.

Try these steps in order. In most cases, the widget starts working again after the app and iOS refresh their shared data.

1. Open Divine Widgets and leave it open for a few seconds.
2. Check Profile > Home Screen widgets or Lock Screen widgets and confirm your settings.
3. Remove the widget from your screen, then add it again.
4. Restart your iPhone.
5. Make sure Low Power Mode is off temporarily and that Divine Widgets is up to date.

Themes change the background, typography, and overall look of the main feed.

1. Go to the main feed.
2. Tap the Themes icon at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll through the available themes or open a category.
4. Tap a theme to apply it.

Some themes download their artwork when you select them. A slow connection or an interrupted download can leave the background temporarily blank.

1. Check that your iPhone has an internet connection.
2. Select a simple color theme, then select the original theme again.
3. Close and reopen Divine Widgets.
4. Update Divine Widgets from the App Store if the theme still does not load.

1. Open the Themes screen from the main feed.
2. Find the Cream theme near the beginning of the list.
3. Tap Cream to restore Divine Widgets' original look.

The theme library can change as new designs are added and older ones are updated or retired. If a theme is no longer listed, it may not currently be available to select again.

• Update Divine Widgets and reopen the Themes screen.
• Check whether a similar design is available in the current library.
• Send the theme name or a screenshot through Feedback if you would like us to consider bringing it back.

You can choose a different Divine Widgets icon for your iPhone Home Screen.

1. Open Profile.
2. Under Customize the app, tap App icon.
3. Tap the icon you want to use.
4. Confirm the change if iOS asks.

Divine Widgets can use your name to make parts of the experience feel more personal.

1. Open Profile.
2. Tap the Settings icon in the upper-right corner.
3. Tap Name.
4. Enter your preferred name and save the change.

Divine Widgets supports all 34 languages available in the app. You can follow your iPhone's language or choose one specifically for Divine Widgets.

1. Open Profile.
2. Tap the Settings icon in the upper-right corner.
3. Tap Language.
4. Select Device default or choose your preferred language.

Yes. If your preferred language or Bible translation is not available, send us a request and tell us which one you would like to see.

1. Open Profile.
2. Tap the Settings icon.
3. Tap Feedback.
4. Include the language and, if relevant, the Bible translation name.

The app language and Bible version are separate settings. If Bible verses appear in another language, your selected Bible version may not match the app language.

1. Open Profile > Bible version.
2. Choose a translation in your preferred language and wait for it to download.
3. Return to the feed.
4. If other text is still in the old language, close and reopen Divine Widgets.

Reminders bring verses, prayers, affirmations, and quotes to you throughout the day. You choose how many you receive and the hours when they can arrive.

1. Open Profile.
2. Tap Reminders under Customize the app.
3. Turn Daily notifications on.
4. Choose between 1 and 12 notifications per day.
5. Set the start and end time for your daily window.
6. Optionally turn on Daily streak reminder and choose its time.

First check both Divine Widgets and iOS. A reminder can be enabled in the app but still be blocked by your iPhone's notification, Focus, or delivery settings.

1. Open Divine Widgets and leave it open for a few seconds.
2. Open Profile > Reminders and turn Daily notifications off, then back on.
3. Open iPhone Settings > Notifications > Divine Widgets.
4. Make sure Allow Notifications is on and delivery is set to Immediate rather than Scheduled Summary.
5. If you use Focus or Do Not Disturb, allow Divine Widgets in that Focus mode.
6. Restart your iPhone if the settings look correct but reminders still do not arrive.

You can reduce the number of daily reminders without turning them off completely, or disable them at any time.

1. Open Profile > Reminders.
2. Use the minus button under How many to reduce the daily total.
3. Adjust the start and end times if you want a shorter delivery window.
4. To stop them completely, turn Daily notifications off.

Divine Widgets does not currently offer a choice of custom reminder sounds. You can mute notification sounds through iOS while keeping the reminders visible.

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Tap Notifications.
3. Find and tap Divine Widgets.
4. Turn Sounds off.

Your streak counts consecutive days when you open Divine Widgets and view content. It updates automatically the first time you view content that day—there is no check-in button.

You can see your current streak and recent activity in Profile. If you miss a day and have a streak freeze available, Divine Widgets uses it automatically to protect your progress.

A streak freeze protects your streak when you miss a day. Divine Widgets starts you with two freezes. Free users can hold up to two freezes, while Premium users can hold up to five.

When a freeze is available, it is used automatically the next time you return after a missed day. You earn another freeze after every seven consecutive active days, up to your plan's limit.

1. Open Profile > Reminders.
2. Find Daily streak reminder.
3. Tap the time to choose when the reminder should arrive.
4. Turn the switch off if you do not want streak reminders.

If you miss one day and have a streak freeze available, Divine Widgets uses it automatically when you return. If no freeze is available, the previous streak ends and a new one starts at day one. There is not currently a manual restore button.

Streak progress is recorded automatically when you view content, and there is not currently a setting to disable the counter.

Subscription plans and prices can vary by country, currency, and available offer. The Premium screen always shows the exact price and billing period before you confirm a purchase.

Apple processes the payment through your Apple ID. Divine Widgets cannot change the price, currency, tax, or exchange rate shown by the App Store.

If a free trial is included with the offer shown to you, the Premium screen will display its length and the subscription price that begins afterward.

• Apple automatically renews the subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand.
• Deleting Divine Widgets does not cancel the trial or subscription.
• Trial availability is controlled by Apple and may depend on whether you have used a previous introductory offer.

Purchases are connected to the Apple ID used to subscribe.

1. Make sure your iPhone is signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
2. Open Divine Widgets and go to Profile.
3. Tap the Settings icon, then Manage subscription.
4. Tap Restore purchases.
5. Sign in with your Apple ID if prompted.

Divine Widgets does not currently have a built-in gift option. You can give someone an Apple Gift Card that they can redeem toward a subscription on their own Apple ID.

Apple manages Divine Widgets subscriptions. You will need to cancel through your Apple ID settings:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Tap your name at the top.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Find and tap Divine Widgets.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

Apple manages App Store payments and decides whether a purchase is eligible for a refund. Divine Widgets cannot approve or issue the refund directly.

1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
2. Sign in with your Apple ID.
3. Find the Divine Widgets subscription and tap Report a Problem.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to submit your refund request.

Divine Widgets does not currently ask you to create a personal account, and favorites, collections, quotes, history, settings, and streaks do not sync through a Divine Widgets cloud account.

• Your library and preferences are stored locally on your iPhone.
• Your Premium purchase is linked to your Apple ID and can be restored separately.
• Use Apple's full-device transfer or backup tools when moving to another iPhone.

Divine Widgets does not currently have an account or a separate cloud-sync feature. Your library and settings are stored locally on your iPhone.

1. Before changing phones, create a current iCloud or computer backup of your old iPhone.
2. Set up the new iPhone using Apple's Quick Start, or restore the whole phone from that backup.
3. Sign in with the same Apple ID.
4. Open Divine Widgets and check Favorites, Collections, My own quotes, your streak, and your widget settings.
5. If Premium is not recognized, open Profile > Settings > Manage subscription and tap Restore purchases.

Favorites, collections, your own quotes, history, widget settings, and streak data are currently stored on your device. Divine Widgets does not yet provide an account that syncs this library between devices.

Deleting and reinstalling the app can remove that local data, and we may not be able to recover it afterward.

If you already deleted the app

1. Reinstall Divine Widgets and check whether iOS restored its app data.
2. If you have a device backup from before the deletion, Apple may be able to restore the whole device from that backup.
3. Restore your Premium purchase separately with the same Apple ID if needed.

Before troubleshooting a widget

Try opening the app, restarting your iPhone, and removing and re-adding the widget before deleting Divine Widgets.
